Vandalia Youth Basketball to hold make up tryouts

VANDALIA — Vandalia Youth Boys Basketball (VYB) is holding make-up tryouts for players who were unable to attend previously. Tryouts will be held at the Living Word Family Life Center at 250 N. Cassell Road in Vandalia.

VYB is a competitive basketball program based in Vandalia and Butler Township. We compete as a member of the Miami Valley Metro Association, playing teams from the GWOC conference and surrounding school systems. VYB offers teams for players in grades 3-6 and will be fielding teams at each grade level. Multiple teams at each grade level are possible, depending on the number of boys who try out. Talented second graders are encouraged to try out, as we may field a second grade team in the third grade lower division league.

Tryout dates are:

Tuesday, October 20: Grades 2-3 are 6 – 7:30 p.m; Grade 4 is 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Wednesday, October 21: Grade 5 are 6 – 7:30 p.m.; Grade 6 is 7:30 – 9 p.m.

Please contact Rob Hunter (937-604-6624) or John Skinner (937-272-0823) with any questions.
