VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
Harold D. Marlow, Jr., 43, of Huber Heights, was arrested on a warrant out of Huber Heights for an expired driver’s license after a traffic stop for speeding. He was transferred to the custody of a Huber Heights officer.
Brian C. Hesson, 25, was charged with theft after a Kroger loss prevention officer reported he stole $363 worth of groceries. He was taken to the county jail.
Officers responded to an address on Adeline on the complaint of a protection order violation. The investigation continues.
Unknown person(s) stole a propane tank behind a residence on Helke Road. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that a wedding ring was stolen from a resident at Hearth and Home. The investigation continues.
A 17-year old juvenile female was charged with being unruly for leaving home without permission and not returning. She was referred to Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
A complainant reported that she received a counterfeit $100 as part of a security deposit at the Hawthorne Suites. The investigation continues.
Jaasiel Shupert, 38, was issued a summons for having a dog at large after it charged two women.
An unknown person driving a car struck another car at the Longhorn Restaurant and fled the scene. The investigation continues.
A man told police he was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend. He and the ex-girlfriend fled the scene. The investigation continues.
A 14-year old juvenile male was charged with being unruly after being out after curfew and being warned previously. A 13-year old boy with him was warned.
After responding on a disorderly call, Scotti Hesler, 22, was issued a summons for theft from a vehicle and Matthew S. Decker, 26, was charged with criminal damaging. Both were issued a summons and released.
An Ohio State Trooper brought Taylor Hines, 20, to the police department for an Intoxilyzer test. She tested .14 BAC and remained in the custody of the trooper.
Michael K. Cottle, 42, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on S. Brown School Road. He was taken to the county jail.
Police responded to the Hawthorne Suites on the report of a stolen vehicle. The investigation continues.
A suspect paid for a cellphone with five counterfeit $500 bills. The suspect was located, provided a written statement, returned the phone, and the case was referred to detectives.
A truck driver reported that an unidentified truck struck him while parked at the Flying J. The investigation continues.
A 12-year old juvenile female was charged with grand theft auto and driving without a license after being found in the area of Hock’s Pharmacy on Elva Court. She was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center at her mother’s request.
A bicycle was stolen from an address on Imperial Court. The investigation continues.
A known suspect kicked the door open of an apartment on Continental Court. The suspect could not be located. The investigation continues.
A resident on Colebrook reported a stolen go-kart. The investigation continues.
Danell G. Collier, 20, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Timberlake Drive. He was taken to the county jail.
A complainant told police his 15-year old daughter had sexual conduct with an 18-year old male on two occasions. The case was referred to detectives for investigation.
Tyler S. Killingsworth, 20, was arrested for OVI/physical control and disorderly conduct after police responded to a fight in the roadway at Mistic Lane and Golf View Court. He was taken to the county jail. Paul D. Anderson, 21, was also charged with disorderly conduct and issued a summons.
An unknown suspect attempted to gain entry into Vandalia United Methodist through a window. Nothing was stolen and it does not appear entry was gained. The investigation continues.
