VANDALIA – It’s time to “fall back.”
Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1 which means you will need to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed on Halloween night, Oct. 31.
It also means an extra hour of sleep Saturday night, at least in theory.
Fire prevention experts recommend that the time change be a time to replace the batteries on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
For those like me who prefer the daylight in the evening, March 13, 2016 seems like it is so far away. That’s the date when we will “spring forward” as Daylight Saving Time begins next year.
