VANDALIA — The Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews restaurant on Miller Lane will open on Monday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m.
Company officials made the announcement on Thursday.
The restaurant will seat nearly 150 customers and employ over 100. Red Robin is located at 6404 Miller Lane and adjacent to the Longhorn Steak House. It will be the second Red Robin in the Dayton area.
The 4,800 square foot restaurant is a prototype for a new design for the company’s restaurants.
To help celebrate the opening, Red Robin will donate all sales of its signature Freckled Lemonade to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation through Nov. 1.
“Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer,” said a press release.
The Foundation has raised more than $100 million and has funded over 500 pediatric cancer research projects.
As its name implies, Red Robin’s menu features gourmet burgers, sandwiches, soups, and salads.
Red Robin has been the self-proclaimed “Gourmet Burger expert” since the first restaurant opened in Seattle in 1969. The company has more than 470 restaurants in the United States and Canada.
