Vandalia Police Reports – Sept. 30 – Oct. 2

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

September 30

Lisa M. Carlisle, 42, was arrested on a felony warrant for forgery out of Montgomery County Common Pleas Court after police received an anonymous call reporting her location and the warrant. Carlisle also has an active warrant out of Stark County for child endangering but the pickup radius of the warrant is for adjacent counties only.

Wanda C. Dimitriou, 62, was arrested for OVI after dispatch received a call about an impaired driver on W. National Road near Peters Pike. She was released after her husband posted bond.

October 1

A 17-year old juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after the report of s suspicious vehicle on Damian St. The case was referred to juvenile court.

October 2

Vandalia police attempted a stop on a vehicle in the area of Webster St. and Wyse Road for multiple marked lanes violations and expired plates. However, the vehicle fled and police disengaged from the pursuit. Butler Township police were notified of the vehicle. The investigation continues.

A complainant reported that she sold a washer and dryer using a Craigslist ad but it was paid with a cashier’s check that did not clear the bank. The investigation continues.

Abbey L. Corn, 28, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Sagraves Dr. She was issued a summons.

A 17-year old juvenile female was charged with being unruly after running away from home and refusing to take calls from her mother. Police made contact with the girl after she returned home. The case was referred to Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
