Vandalia Police Reports Sept. 27-29

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects were innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

September 29

After a random license plate check at the Travel Lodge motel, a vehicle’s license plates were confiscated per BMV order.

Officers received a complaint about a domestic violence incident but were unable to substantiate a primary aggressor. No arrests were made.

Demetrius QJ Luck, 26, was arrested on a warrant out of Lima Municipal Court for failure to appear on a traffic violation. A relative posted bond and he was released.

An employee of the Little York Medical Center reported that an unknown person struck her vehicle while she was at work. The person who struck the vehicle called police and admitted responsibility. The case was listed as inactive.

An employee of a business on Northwoods Blvd. reported that his ex-girlfriend damaged his vehicle while he was at work. The investigation continues.

September 28

A complainant reported that her purse was taken in the parking lot of Kroger while loading groceries. The investigation continues.

Jason C. Pion, 42, was arrested for OVI on S. Dixie after initially being stopped for a marked lanes violation. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

September 27

A complainant reported that she received a typed letter referencing her boyfriend and children but no physical threats. She believes a known person who she has a protection order against may have sent the letter. The investigation continues.

A complainant reported that someone threw a rock at an upstairs window and broke it. He also had a car window broken in September, but has no idea who id damaging his property. The investigation continues.
