VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects were innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
A business on Webster St. reported that a window was broken out and a box containing cash was missing. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that he left his wallet at the Speedway on E. National Road. When he went to retrieve the wallet, it was missing. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that a known suspect removed two boxes of personal checks and three pairs of new shoes from her residence without permission. The investigation continues.
Tyler M. Schoby, 20, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for failure to comply on a traffic case and also a warrant for failure to appear on an OVI case out of Montgomery County Area #1 Court. He posted bond at the police department and was released to a friend.
An employee of Encon on Space Dr. reported that he found a bullet hole in a window. The investigation continues.
A person walking her dog near Allanhurst Avenue was bitten by another person’s dog. A quarantine order was issued for the dog.
Tammy R. Boardman, 49, was arrested for OVI after a report of a vehicle striking a street sign on Vista Ave. An officer found the vehicle and its driver on Clyde Pl. She was transported to the Huber Heights Medical Center due to her extreme intoxication.
Beau Townsend Ford reported that tools and a laptop computer were stolen during a breaking and entering. Touch DNA was recovered and forwarded to the Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab. The investigation continues.
