Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

March 11

Miller Lane, domestic violence, Domestic violence occurred on RTA and street. Suspect arrested.

Engle Road, misuse of credit card, credit card fraud.

March 13

Walmart, theft, Subject observed breaking open security packages containing computer hard drives and then concealing the hard drives on his person. After passing all points of sales he was stopped and arrested for theft.

March 14

Walmart, theft, Responded to a theft at Walmart. Suspect was identified and charged with theft.

North Dixie Hardware, theft of a motor vehicle, Dispatched to the U-Haul rental center in reference to a stolen 10’ box truck.

Glenhurst, identity fraud, Complainant states his identity information was compromised when his accountant’s computer was hacked last month, and an unknown suspect attempted to file a tax return using his information. Someone also attempted to open a bank account in his name.

Speedway, theft, A male stole beer and left the business without paying. He was identified and will be charged with theft.

March 15

Quality Inn, criminal damaging, Hotel management signed a complaint against a guest for causing damage to the room. The suspect could not be located, and the charges will be forwarded to the Vandalia Municipal Court.

Cassano’s, counterfeiting, Reporting person advised that a female suspect presented a counterfeit $100.00 for pay for an order. Suspect left the store without obtaining any food. Bill was confiscated and placed into evidence.

Sam’s Club, theft, Complaint states she accidentally left her wallet in a shopping cart in between the exit doors at Sam’s club at 1600 hrs. When she returned at 1800 hrs she was unable to find the wallet. She then discovered that her debit card and several gift cards that were in the wallet had been used at various locations.

March 16

Little York Drive, possession of drugs, Officers responded to a drug overdose. Drugs and paraphernalia were collected from the scene, charges pending lab results.

Yolanda L. Baker, 30, domestic violence, possession of drug paraphernalia

Jushelem E. T. Smith, 33, warrant for nonsupport of dependents

Chaz M. Tiller, 28, theft

Andrea D. Rowland, 41, theft

Tabitha L. Barrett, 34, warrant arrest for assault

Lucas M. Magno, 48, warrant arrest for failure to appear
