Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

January 6

Walmart, theft, Juvenile suspect exited store without paying for merchandise.

January 7

Crestridge, assault, Report of assault between boyfriend and girlfriend. Neither party wished to pursue charges.

McDonald’s, criminal damaging, Suspect used pellet gun to shoot at victim’s vehicle in a fit of rage.

Walmart, drug possession, Female stopped for shoplifting, found in possession of felony drugs.

January 8

Walmart, drug possession, Suspicious person stopped in lot, falsified identity. Was found to have warrant and be in possession of drugs.

Spring Glen, identity fraud, Victim’s credit was used fraudulently to buy two cell phones at an unknown location. Service provider requested she file a police report so they could begin their investigation.

January 9

Engle Road, breaking and entering, Two suspects entered into the property after cutting the fence and cut the locks off of several storage units in an attempt to commit a theft.

January 11

Walmart, theft, Employee was caught stealing merchandise while at work.

N. Dixie Drive, domestic violence, Responded to 8XXX North Dixie Drive regarding a domestic violence in progress, where the suspect had broken through a locked door and attacked the victim.

Walmart, theft, Adult male concealed several items of merchandise while his adult girlfriend acted as his lookout. Subjects were stopped after passing all points of sale without attempting to purchase said merchandise.

Speedway, kidnapping, The legal guardian/aunt of the minor child victim reported her drug-dependent sister, who is the biological mother of the victim, took her vehicle and child away from the hotel without consent. The child was located unharmed several minutes later, and suspect was transported to the hospital for medical and psychological treatment.

Gene A. Bozarth, 45, drug possession, falsification, drug paraphernalia

Donald R. Finlay, 40, driving under suspension

Kaylee M. Woolard, 25, driving under suspension

Justin T. Moore, 26, domestic violence, burglary

April M. Gibson, 47, complicity

Shawn F. Lawson, 32, theft
