Pack 307 to hold sign-up night

VANDALIA — Cub Scout Pack 307 will hold its annual sign up night on Tuesday, September 8 from 7 – 8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 122 West National Road, Vandalia.

Boys in grades 1-5 are welcome to attend to learn about the program, activities and fees. Boys will participate in a fun and interactive activity while parents learn about the Pack 307 program.

Founded 60 years ago, Pack 307 is a well-established pack with plenty of opportunities to camp, learn outdoor skills and earn recognition for achievements, all alongside an experienced leadership team.

Cub Scouting offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Camping, hiking, service projects, ceremonies, games and other activities guide boys through the core values and give them a sense of personal achievement. Through positive peer group interaction, leadership and parental guidance, boys will learn honesty, bravery, respect and many other characteristics at the core of scouting.
