CENTERVILLE — The Butler girls golf team ended their season last week by placing 11th in the sectional tournament at Yankee Trace Golf Club in Centerville.

Kaitlyn Jackson shot a 91 to lead the Aviators followed by Lexi Crawford (106), Breanne Kroeker (108), Hailee Perry (115), and Elly Dukes (122).

“This was my final match with these wonderful girls,” said coach Dee Hoffman. “They aree such a great group of young ladies. We might not have advanced to district, but they should did give it a try. Kaitylyn Jackson was one stroke away from going to district with 91. Breanne Kroeker and Lexi Crawford scored their best personal scores of the year. My most improved golfer goes to Elly Dukes. She improved her score from the beginning of the season by 5.1. I’m so proud that I was their coach.”
