Lady Aviators fall to Alter


KETTERING — The Butler Lady Aviators golf team traveled to Community Golf Course in Kettering on Thursday and fell to the Lady Knights.

Alter shot 189 while the Aviators carded a 205.

Kaitlyn Jackson was a medalist with outstanding score of 44. Breanna Kroeker shot a 53 with Hailee Perry and Lexi Crawford just behind at 54. Savanna Dunlevy scored a 57.

“The girls lost but are improving,” said coach Dee Hoffman. “Lexi (Crawford) is a freshman who is improving every match. Savanna (Dunlevy) is also new to the team. The girls improved 17 shots from their previous match versus Troy which they dropped 210-222 on August 4 at Cassel Hills.”

The Aviators will play on the road their next two matches. On Thursday they travel to Northmont and on Wednesday, Aug. 23 they will face Fairmont in Kettering.
