VANDALIA — Over the course of the summer, the Butler girls soccer team has been in the weight room preparing for the upcoming season.
Lifting coach Jeremy Lavoie puts the girls soccer team through intensive strength and conditioning workouts every Monday, then they have Tuesday/Thursday coaching days in order to improve their skills before season starts.
“We are working hard to make it a great season,” said Bri Fourman.
Fourman recently verbally committed to play soccer at the Division II level for Ashland University, and she is looking forward to her last season with Butler High School.
The Butler Lady Aviators varsity soccer team will kick off their season on Friday, August 19 against Chaminade-Julienne.
