Lewis named All-American

Former Butler Aviator Dusty Lewis was recently named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association First Team All-American team.

GLEN FALLS, New York — On Sunday, May 14, 2017, The United States Collegiate Athletic Association named Dusty Lewis to their All American First Team for baseball. Dusty is a Freshman at the Wright State Lake campus. The award was presented by the USCAA for small college baseball in Glen Falls, New York. Dusty was selected for second base and was the only freshman awarded a place on the First Team.

His league record earned him his place on the 2017 USCAA All American First Team during the regular season. His batting average was .336, he had 20 stolen bases and led his team with 50 runs. Dusty is the first member of Wright State Lake to ever receive this award for First Team.

Dusty still holds the record at Vandalia-Butler High School with 22 stolen bases.
