VANDALIA — The Butler boys soccer team improved to 8-4-2 with a 4-0 win over Xenia on Saturday morning.

Chris Mitrousus scored a pair of goals for the Aviators with Terrance Engle and Parker Jenson adding a goal each.

The win was the second in a row for the Aviators.

Butler defeated Sidney on Tuesday by a 2-1 score. That win, coupled with the Xenia victory, that lifted the Aviators to 6-2-1 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference American North division.

Riley Weber and Jenson scored for the Aviators.

Butler’s regular season will end this week with games at Tippecanoe on Tuesday at 7:15. The Aviators will host Miamisburg on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Sixth-seeded Butler will open sectional play on Thursday, Oct. 20 against the winner of Xenia-Wayne.
