TIFFIN — Kenzie Lundqvist (women’s soccer), a senior Mathematics major from Vandalia, Ohio, was among 143 Heidelberg University student athletes honored honored with a Landess Scholar-Athlete Award for the fall semester.

The Landess Awards were created by William Landess, a 1995 Heidelberg alumnus and member of the university’s Board of Trustees, to honor student-athletes who achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA during their semester of competition.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 30 majors, 30 minors and 10 pre-professional programs, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music degrees, as well as master’s degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music. Affiliated with the United Church of Christ, Heidelberg has been ranked for 28 consecutive years as one of the top colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News and World Report.
