Test drive a Ford to

support Butler athletes

VANDALIA — The Butler Athletic Boosters invite you and your friends to support our student- athletes, cheerleaders and coaches and test drive a car with a booster member on October 3 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Vandalia Recreation Center. Our goal is to secure 300 drivers which would guarantee a $6,000 contribution from Ford. Drivers must be 18 years old and there is a limit of one driver per address. The Drive One 4UR School event is sponsored by Beau Townsend Ford.

Girls 12U fastpitch

VANDALIA — A new local team is looking for players for USSSA and ASA 12U girls fastpitch softball. The team is open to all surrounding communities and this will be a fee-free team to parents. If interested contact Kyle at 937-287-8555 or email dillhoffdei@yahoo.com. Tryouts will be at the Vandalia Rec Center at 1111 Stonquarry Rd. on Aug 19 and 26 with rain out dates the following day. Players should bring all equipment and plenty of water. Please contact Kyle if you need a tryout if you can’t make the days provided.
