Butler to host Wee Aviator football camp

VANDALIA — The Vandalia Wee Aviators will hold a football camp on Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at Butler High Schoool. The camp will be conducted by the Butler varsity coaches and players along with past alumni with an emphasis on teaching fundamentals, drills, and skill sets to get them ready for the upcoming season.

Butler Aviator head coach Greg Bush expects former Aviators Taylor Decker, Airion Kosak, Sam Faulkner, and Richard Motter to serve as counselors during the camp.

“They will instruct and discuss what it takes to play college football,” said Bush. “Additionally, they will reinforce the importance of making good choices as a teenager.”

The camp has free admission and water and Gatorade will be available for purchase.

It’s a great time for everyone and gives the kids a chance to meet the varsity players they will be watching on Friday nights! Go Aviators!
