Local students from several area communities will appear in ‘Beauty and the Best’ at The Hangar, located at First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 615 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia.

MIAMI COUNY — School On the Rock, the home school program of Miami County, will take on a beast of a musical this spring.

Students, from throughout Miami County and beyond, will offer “Beauty and the Beast” for this year’s annual production.

The show is set to have four performances, at 7 p.m. March 30-31 and at noon and 5 p.m. April 1 at The Hangar, located at First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 615 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia.

Tickets are $8 each presale or $10 at the door. Children 2 and under are free on a parent’s lap. Doors will open 30 minutes before the show.

Amy Fraley has taken on the role of director for the show, while choreography is being handled by Laura Beth Fraley and Amy Fraley. The producer is Lisa Caupp.
