VANDALIA — Helke Principal Brian Tregoning kept his promise to his students on Friday. He said if they raised $5000 in the annual read-a-thon fundraiser, he would eat a grasshopper, and he did. Then, he said if they made it to $12,000, he would kiss a pig, and he did. Kindergarten teacher Kristina Sucher also agreed to eat a grasshopper.
