Police seek identity of Walmart robbery suspect


BUTLER TWP. — Butler Township Police are seeking the identity of a woman suspected in a robbery that occurred at the Walmart on Miller Lance early Sunday morning.

According to police, the suspect followed the victim out of the store and came over to her vehicle. The subject then displayed what appeared to be a steak knife and demanded the victim’s wallet. When she refused, the woman moved toward the victim with the knife and grabbed her purse.

She then fled across the parking lot and got in a vehicle driven by an unknown subject.

The suspect , who was captureed on surveillance cameras, is described as a black female 30-40 years old, medium build wearing dark clothing and a dark blue starter jacket with lighter blue abd white stripes. The vehicle is believed to be a 4 door GM product possibly Buick sedan, dark green in color.

The Butler Township Police Department is asking assistance from the public in helping to identify the suspect.
