Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

July 17

Red Roof Inn, disorderly conduct, dispatched to hotel on an overdose.

Old Springfield Road, burglary, Investigation reveals that unknown suspect(s) kicked in the back door of the victim’s house, stole a television, and broke out the front door and fled.

O’Charley’s, theft without consent, Vehicle window broken out at O’Charley’s and laptop bag containing laptop and office supplies stolen.

Walmart, theft without consent, theft of merchandise by two juvenile and one adult suspect.

Miller Lane, fictitious plates, Investigation revealed that a driver was stopped for an expired plate. The plate belonged to another motor vehicle, and no ownership could be verified using the vehicle identification number. No information could be found using the VIN, and the vehicle was towed and held for further investigation. The driver was cited for the violations, and the passengers were cited for not wearing seat belts.

July 18

Residence Inn, Unknown suspicious female left bike behind when motel staff saw her in the lot. Female dropped bike and left on foot into vacant lot.

Rosecrest Drive, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, The victim reports his cell phone, truck keys, and 2008 Chevy Silverado truck were stolen by a known suspect while he was asleep. The stolen property including the vehicle was returned to the victim’s residence a few hours later.

Red Roof Inn, Process of issuing warrants in motel recovered drug abuse instruments marked for destruction.

Walmart, theft without consent, Investigation reveals that 2 suspects removed $42.35 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 3465 York Commons Boulevard, without paying for the items.

Walmart, theft without consent, Dispatched to Walmart for a subject concealing items.

July 19

Days Inn, assault, Subject punched victim in face in doorway at the motel. Signed charges for assault were taken.

Walmart, theft, Subject shoplifted from Walmart. Subject gave a false name and possessed a hypodermic syringe. Subject also had a warrant. Subject charged with theft, drug abuse instruments, and obstructing official business. Subject booked into the county jail.

Walmart, theft without consent, Investigation revealed that the suspect removed merchandise from Walmart without paying for it.

Chick-Fil-A, forgery, Investigation revealed that between 1100 and 1400 hours on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, a counterfeit $20.00 bill was passed as payment at Chick-Fil-A.

Maxton, theft of motor vehicle, Investigation revealed that between 0230 and 0700 hours on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, unknown suspect(s) took the victim’s vehicle from the parking lot of the Quality Inn and Suites, 3661 Maxton Road.

July 20

Lightner Road, theft without consent, Responded to Zed Industries for theft of tools. Unknown suspects.

Coppersmith, theft, Unknown subject entered unlocked vehicle and took black bag containing cash.

July 21

Speedway, Investigation reveals that a suspicious male was loitering behind the Speedway, 6501 Miller Lane. He was evading me, and when I approached, he ran from me and was apprehended at the Golden Corral.

Courtyard, theft, Unknown subject entered vehicle taking tools and a suit case containing clothes.

Coppersmith, Responded to residence for an accidental shooting. Victim was carrying a handgun, tripped and gun fell to the floor. When the gun was dropped, a round was fired and struck the victim in the leg.

Walmart, theft, Responded to Walmart for a theft in progress.

Harrow Court, criminal damaging, dispatched to Harrow Ct. in Butler Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, in reference to damage to a fence. On arrival, the complainant showed me damage to the latch on the gate to the privacy fence that surrounded his back yard. The damage was done with the probable intent of entering the rear yard.

Walmart, theft, Suspects shoplifted from Walmart. Both suspects booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

America’s Best Value Inn, Drove by America’s Best Value Inn and saw a white female attempting to break into room 211. Turned around, parked, and walked to walkway. The female was gone, but I saw the window screen propped up against the building. I obtained the folio for the room and attempted to make contact with the occupant. The front desk clerk opened the door and the room was empty. I observed in plain sight an hypodermic syringe, a small bag of marijuana, and a small bag of suspected heroin. I seized them.

Little York Road, OVI, Driver crashed vehicle while traveling westbound on Little York Road. Driver was found to be OVI and arrested.

July 22

Benchwood Road, burglary, Responded to residence for a burglary. Resident advised that when she returned home from work, she noticed several pieces of jewelry and electronics missing. Unknown entry and exit from residence.

July 23

Rosecrest, Dispatched to a suspicious person. Person was found to not have identifiable information in state or federal databases. Information entered for assist in locating family members.

Red Roof Inn, A member of the Red Roof Inn cleaning staff located a CO2 cartridge powered BB gun in a storage room accessible by staff members only. The BB gun was seized.

Walmart, theft, Male suspect shop lifted items from Walmart. Male suspect left with white female. The male was booked into the county jail for theft. The female falsely identified herself, and she was subsequently booked into the jail for falsification, drug paraphernalia, and a warrant.

Danielle N. Webb, 25, theft without consent

Willie R. White-Allen, 30, warrant for theft without consent

Anthony D. Pullin, 33, driving while suspended

William L. Spracklen, 25, theft, criminal trespass
