Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

June 19

Lightner Road, theft, Unknown suspects stole a trailer and a large grill from another trailer at the business.

Little York Road, unruly juvenile, Responded to residence for a missing juvenile/runaway.

Walmart, theft, Investigation revealed that a juvenile suspect removed a canister of air freshener from the package and left the store without paying.

June 20

Garianne, misuse of credit card, Investigation reveals that over the course of the last 1 and 1/2 years, the victim’s adult son has used her credit cards, without her permission, to withdraw money from her banking account. The victim is a member of a protected class due to age.

Forest Green, theft, Complainant states that between 2030 hours on June 19, 2017 and 1630 hours on June 20, 2017 unknown suspect(s) took a Rumpke trash bin from in front of his residence.

Benchwood Road, unruly juvenile, Complaint stated her juvenile son was being unruly, threatening violence, and made a suicidal statement. The juvenile was transported to Children’s Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

June 21

Walmart, theft, Suspect pushed a cart full of merchandise valued at $357.10 past all points of purchase at the Walmart Store without paying for them. Subject apprehended in the parking lot and arrested for petty theft.

Walmart, theft, Investigation reveals that a juvenile walked out of Walmart with $861.92 in merchandise, in a cart, without paying. The Juvenile was also found to be an entered missing juvenile and was returned to her parents with pending charges of theft.

June 22

Village Green Drive, criminal damaging, Known subject damaged every wall of every room on the interior of the residence with a hammer, and damaged the exterior electric box and cable boxs of the residence.

Walmart, theft, dispatched to Walmart for a theft.

Sudachi Drive, theft, complainant came to the Police department and advised that she left her wallet in a cart at Walmart. When she went back to get it, it was gone.

Roselake Drive, theft, Between 1900 hours on June 21, 2017 and 1000 hours on June 22, 2017, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle that was parked in his driveway and took approximately $310.00 in cash and coins. No suspect information.

June 24

South Sunny Ridge Road, dispatched to a residence for a male yelling at his mother in the front yard.

Benchwood Road, criminal damaging, Responded to residence for damage to vehicle windshield. Unknown object, possibly a BB pellet cracked the windshield of complainant’s vehicle.

Peters Pike, Dispatched in reference to an elderly male who was suffering from dementia and refusing to cooperate with his son.

Benchwood Road, verbal dispute between 17 year old victim and stepfather.

June 25

Rockwell, theft of a motor vehicle, Responded to residence for theft of a motor vehicle. Subject left vehicle unlocked overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole vehicle between the hours of 2000-0700.

Red Lion Hotel, theft, Dispatched to Red Lion on a theft from an unlocked vehicle.

Dog Leg Road, furnishing false information, Stopped vehicle for speeding. Driver provided false information to avoid a traffic citation. Later learned the subject had 3 active warrants for his arrest.

Allison D. Cason, 34, warrant arrest for possession of drugs (2 counts)

Juvenile arrest for unruly juvenile

Juvenile arrest for theft without consent

Donald K. Greathouse, 19, theft without consent

Adam J. Hadley, 28, warrant arrest for driving under suspension

Destiny R. Covey, 24, warrant arrest possession of controlled substances

Juvenile arrest for theft without consent

Mark G. Fletcher, 60, warrant arrest for theft

Gregory N. Cooks, 25, warrant arrest for domestic violence

David M. Bowling, 27, warrant arrest for aggravated trespass, failure to register, criminal trespass

Kristopher B. Chestnut, 36, warrant arrest for nonsupport of dependents (2), barking dogs, citation for speeding and charged with furnishing false information
