VANDALIA — One of Vandalia’s most anticipated events annually returns to town this weekend.
The St. Christopher Summer Festival draws people from around the Miami Valley to enjoy great food, bingo, music, amusement rides, and gambling.
This year the festival will be run from Friday through Sunday, June 9-11.
The festival rides will be provided by the Murray Brothers, carnival ride specialists based in Cincinnati.
However, these rides are not the festival’s sole attraction. Other attractions include bands like Flashback and Michael Wells as well as a festival raffle prize of five thousand dollars. The festival has been a huge fundraising help for St. Christopher Parish, located off of National Road.
The festival schedule is:
Friday 6 p.m. – midnight
Saturday 1 p.m. – midnight
Sunday noon – 6 p.m.
