Vandalia Police Reports

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.

April 26

Four students at Butler High School were charged with underage consumption of alcohol and one student was charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after the students shared an alcoholic beverage on school grounds. The juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court.

Kenith G. Pak, 32, was arrested on a warrant for a misdemeanor probation violation warrant after being detained by Kettering Police. He was taken to the county jail.

Brooke D. McKinney, 26, was arrested for OVI after a stop on Dixie Drive near Mulberry Road. She was released to family members.

April 27

Amanda S. King, 24, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court. After seeing a probation officer at the court and posting bond she was released to a family member.

Robert D. Reese, 44, was arrested for violating a protection order and public intoxication. He was taken to the county jail.

A complainant on Buttercup Ave. reported that a relative and friend stole three checks and her debit card information. They then attempted to cash a check in Troy. The investigation continues.

April 28

Paul D. Anderson was arrested for vandalism, two counts of aggravated menacing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct after police responded to an a disturbance on Meyers Court. After being detained, he became belligerent, kicked the police cruiser door, and threatened the officer. He was taken to the county jail.

April 29

While on a business check at the Super 8 on E. National Road an officer confiscated the plates on a vehicle per BMV order.

Darla H. Tuttle, 42, was arrested for OVI after a traffic stop for failure to signal. She was released to a friend.

Cecily R. Coburn, 26, was arrested for OVI after going through the Taco Bell drive-thru and slurring her words. She was released to a sober friend.

After a stop for speeding, the plates on a vehicle were confiscated per BMV order and the driver was cited for speeding.

A resident on Old Springfield Road reported that someone broke into his shed and stole several items. The investigation continues.
