Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

May 22

Walnut Ridge @ Silver Rock, speeding, Investigation revealed that the driver of a transport van was stopped for speeding in the 3100-block of Benchwood Road. The driver went to her personally owned vehicle to retrieve insurance and was found to be in possession of less than 100 grams of marijuana located in her vehicle.

May 23

Westfall @ Meeker Road, drug paraphernalia, Contacted occupants of vehicle on Westfall Drive at Meeker Road with hazard lights on. Vehicle smelled of marijuana. Search conducted and marijuana and paraphernalia recovered. Both occupants served summonses for marijuana drug paraphernalia.

Walmart, breaking and entering, Unknown subject(s) broke out the front door glass to the business with a concrete block, force open an employee entrance door and stole 3 IPAD Air tablets from employee office and exited through the rear of the business.

Walmart, theft without consent, Dispatched to Walmart on theft. Suspect fled in a vehicle with merchandise.

May 24

Rosecrest Drive, abduction, Spoke with program Manager from ViaQuest, Inc in regards to a interference with custody issues. Victim lives in a group home at 6xxx Rosecrest Drive. Victim’s mother has tried to take her from the residence on several occasions. Suspect does not have legal custody.

Walmart, drug possession, Dispatched to Walmart on a reported theft with suspect in custody. During search incident to arrest, suspected drugs were located in suspect’s purse.

May 25

Walmart, theft, Arrested male for shop lifting, female with him had outstanding warrant. Both subjects transported to Jail.

May 26

N. Dixie Drive, missing juvenile, Made traffic stop on vehicle, and male juvenile passenger was an entered missing juvenile out of Clay Twp. After confirmation, Clay Twp. responded to scene and took custody of juvenile.

Walmart, theft, Responded to Walmart for a theft of $100 cash.

Walmart, theft, suspect stole merchandise from Walmart and then ran from police. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Little York Road, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, I was dispatched to 2xxx Little York Road on a report of an auto theft. While talking to the owner of the stolen vehicle in his driveway, the suspect pulled in with the truck. The owner of the vehicle decided that he would not pursue any charges against the person who stole his vehicle because he returned it. He signed a refusal to prosecute and the suspect was released. Let it be known that the owner of the vehicle, did not know the person who took his vehicle.

May 27

Walmart, theft without consent, nvestigation revealed that the suspect walked out of the Walmart, 3645 York Commons Boulevard, without paying for 54 items of value.

May 28

N. Dixie Drive, violation of protection order, Investigation revealed that the victim flagged down a passer-by at the UDF and requested he call police due to her being assaulted. After being stopped, it was learned the victim had an active TPO against the passenger.

Miller Lane, disorderly conduct, Highly intoxicated female on foot refusing to identify herself was wanted by VPD in questioning to an assault in Vandalia. Subject after being warned many times to stop walking away and failing to identify herself was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstruction and assault.

Miller Lane, theft, Known suspect entered victims vehicle, removed various items from vehicle.

Benchwood Road @ Autumn Ridge, underage possession of alcohol, Investigation reveals that while on foot patrol of Benchwood Road at Autumn Ridge Court, a vehicle was parked with 4 people inside from a loud party in the area. Two 18 year old suspects were found in possession of alcoholic beverages. A mason jar with marijuana was also located in the vehicle.

Steven Williams, 49, theft, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, drug paraphernalia

Ryan A. Glover, 32, nonsupport of dependents

Alisia M. Paulus, 36, theft without consent

Thomas E. Kennedy, 57, violation of protection order

Susan E. Boshart, 47, assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business

Brandon L. Bischoff, 18, underage possession of alcohol

Kebron T. Moges, 18, open container, underage possession of alcohol
