BUTLER TWP. — On Sunday, May 28, St. Paul Lutheran Church on Dog Leg Road recognized military personnel in honor of Memorial Day weekend. In the weeks prior to the event, congregation members submitted names of any military personnel they knew who they would like included in the recognition.

There were 49 names submitted, including eight veterans in the congregation and six active duty personnel in the congregation. There was a special time of prayer for them during worship and then a reception after worship that was very well attended. Thank you all for your dedication and bravery.
