VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
A 14 year old juvenile male was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center after a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to Westhafer Road on the report of multiple vehicles being broken into overnight. The investigation continues.
An 18-year old male was transported to Grandview Hospital for an emergency admittance.
A resident came to the police department and reported that an unknown person asked her for change for a $20 bill. The bill she received was a forgery. The investigation continues.
A Tipp City resident reported that two males lured her to a location and one attempted to put her in his vehicle and take her away. The male punched her in the face as well. The investigation continues.
An unknown person stole an I-pad Mini from Living Word Church. The investigation continues.
A woman was revived with Narcan after being found with an apparent overdose in the area of S. Perry and Kenbrook. She was transported to the Huber ER.
A vehicle was towed from Middlefield Court due to having expired plates.
After stopping a vehicle for speeding, it was found the driver, Jerry Furlow, did not have a driver’s license and had multiple suspensions. The plates on the vehicle did not match the vehicle. Furlow was cited for speeding, driving under suspension, and fictitious plate. The vehicle was towed.
Brian L. Brown, 37, was arrested on a warrant out of Huber Heights for failure to appear on an original charge of theft. He was released in the custody of a Huber Heights officer.
William J. Abrams, 39, was arrested for disorderly conduct/intoxication. He was released to his father.
Kendall M. Allen, 21, was arrested for endangering children after her minor daughter was found wandering the neighborhood for over an hour. The child was found on Karns Avenue, about a block from Allen’s residence. She was issued a summons.
Jessica R. Robinson, 31, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for probation violation on an original charge of theft. She was taken to the county jail.
A man was transported for emergency admission after sending his girlfriend text messages he wanted to take his life.
Robert A. Briggs, 72, was issued a summons for having an open container.
Haftu A. Fetene, 29, of Columbus, was arrested for attempting to obtain fraudulent prescriptions at multiple pharmacies in Vandalia. He was taken to the county jail.
Christopher J. Martin, 26, was charged with two counts of endangering children after officers discovered he was smoking marijuana with children at home. He was issued a summons and a referral made to Children’s Services.
Robert A. Manning, 43, was arrested on a warrant out of Greene County for failure to appear on a child neglect warrant. He was transferred to a Greene County deputy.
An employee reported that a known male attempted to cash a fraudulent check at Key Bank. The investigation continues.
A resident on W. Van Lake Drive reported a stolen package from her door step. The investigation continues.
A resident on S. Brown School Road reported a stolen package from her door step. The investigation continues.
