Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

May 2

Green Acres Drive, overdose, Subject was last seen at 5xx Green Acres Drive on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 2230 hours. She was noticed missing on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 1540 hours. According the the reportee, the subject has a history of drug abuse.

May 3

Days Inn, criminal trespass, Male subject trespassed from motels was in room #111 at the Days Inn Motel. Subject charged with criminal trespass and transported to jail.

Walmart, theft, Female subject selected and concealed property and then walked past the last point of purchase making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.

Brantford Road, burglary, Responded to a burglary of a residence. Victim stated that her residence was ransacked while she was gone for a period of time. Victim stated that she was not aware of any property missing.

Yorkshire Drive, drug paraphernalia, Responded to residence for an unintentional overdose. Upon arrival, subject was incoherent. Subject also took off clothes and his socks. When he took off his socks, several heroin capsules fell out. The capsules were empty but had residue inside.

Walmart, theft without consent, Contacted complainant in regards to a missing cell phone. Complainant stated that her cell phone was stolen from her shopping cart, while she placed merchandise and her children into the car. After reviewing video footage, a white male was seen taking the shopping cart into the store and taking the cell phone, which was in the seat of the shopping cart.

America’s Best Value Inn, possession of heroin, Originally dispatched to room #131 for a possible suicidal female, who was known to the caller. After knocking several times without an answer at the door, a key was obtained from the front desk clerk. Upon entering this room to check the welfare, a nude male was passed out on the bed with beads of sweat on his head. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were out in plain view as well as inside the male subject’s pants pocket. The female eventually returned to the room and appeared to be okay and denied having any thoughts of suicide.

May 4

Benchwood Road, theft, Responded to 3XXX Benchwood Road in reference to stolen jewelry. Complainant stated that between March 9, 2017 and May 4, 2017, she had two pieces of jewelry stolen from her residence. There are known known suspects at this time.

May 5

America’s Best Value Inn, possession of marijuana, Attempted to serve warrant found narcotics in room.

Walmart, theft without consent, Responded to Walmart for a female being detained by store security for theft. Female was arrested for theft and two active warrants through Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

May 6

Walmart, theft, Female walked passed last point of purchase making no attempt to pay for merchandise.

Rosecrest Drive, Elderly male suffering from dementia had driven a vehicle from residence and was driving in southern Ohio for hours. We were able to track his phone and alert the Mason Police Department who was able to assist. Male was taken to local hospital for evaluation.

Office Depot, disorderly conduct, Responded to Office Depot for an unintentional overdose in the parking lot. Located male subject lying on the ground, near vehicle. Subject was given Narcan by the medics and transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment. Subject was charged for disorderly conduct.

Little York Road @ Webster Street, OVI, Investigation reveals the driver was westbound on Little York Road and struck a wall in Vandalia, but continued. The reportee called 911 and reported the driver was intoxicated. The suspect was stopped as he pulled into UDF at Little York Road and North Dixie Drive. The driver was found to be intoxicated, had no license, and was in possession of open containers of alcohol.

Little York Road, OVI, Injury crash. Driver exited vehicle and departed scene in front of multiple witnesses. Passenger trapped in car. Witnesses described driver and passenger identified driver. Driver located short distance away, was intoxicated, and arrested for OVI.

Andrew L. Kendrick, 39, disorderly conduct

Michael P. McGovern, 68, OVI, open container, seat belt violation, failure to control

Benjamin G. Morning, 39, OVI, failure to control, driving without license, failure to stop after accident

Bryan L. Schoonover,41, warrant – failure to appear

Brianna M. Johnson, 22, warrant – failure to appear

Brandice A. Kingsley, 28, warrant – failure to appear
