VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
A business on Pool Avenue received a fraudulent call she believed to be from a utility and purchased seven prepaid debit cards to pay a bill. The investigation continues.
Kornelia M. McGinnis, 54, was arrested for OVI after driving into an active fire scene and bumping into a Butler Township fire truck on Tionda Dive. She was released to a sober person and her vehicle towed.
A man was sent to Grandview Hospital on an emergency admission after officers responded to an address on Brown School Road.
A resident on S. Dixie Drive reported that unknown person(s) damaged his vehicle by climbing on top of it and causing the top to collapse. The investigation continues.
Officers responded to an address on Stoneysprings Road on the report of intentional damage to a phone line junction box. The investigation continues.
Officers responded to the Knights Inn on the report of an unresponsive female. Vandalia fire personnel administered two doses of Narcan and transported the person to Huber Heights Medical Center.
Jessica Hayes, 46, was issued a citation for criminal damaging after damaging her roommates car windshield. She was then arrested for disorderly conduct for continuing to yell obscenities at the victim and witness. She was taken to the county jail.
Officers responded to GE Aviation on the report of a male in the parking lot who was unresponsive. He was revived with Narcan and transported to the Huber Heights Medical Center. Nicholas Harris, 29, of Lockington, Ohio, was a passenger in the vehicle and after fleeing wwas arrested on a warrant through the Ohio State Patrol
Sarah Denton, 32, of Miamisburg, was arrested on a warrant out of Warren County for probation violation after a stop on Park Center Drive for a marked lanes violation. She was also charged with obstructing official business for refusing to comply with officer commands and requests despite multiple warnings. She was taken to the county jail.
A person left his wallet at McDonald’s and when it was turned in cash was missing. The investigation continues.
Shannon L. Antaramian, 29, was arrested on a felony aggravated possession of drugs warrant through the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office after officers responded to an address on Continental Court on a drug overdose. She was taken to the county jail.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Continental Court on the report of an overdose. Five doses of Narcan were used on the subject and he was transported to Grandview Hospital.
A resident on Fitchland Drive reported someone broke into his apartment and removed firearms, ammunition, rifle magazines, a buffalo nickel, and a machete. The investigation continues.
A man’s license plate was confiscated per BMV order and his vehicle towed after he was stopped for speeding on Dixie Drive. He was also issued a citation for driving under suspension.
