Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

March 27

N. Dixie @ York Commons, furnishing false information to a police officer, Investigation reveals that during the course of a traffic stop on 2-10-17, the driver of the car provided false information to the officer as to their identity to avoid a citation.

March 28

Red Roof Inn, theft without consent, theft of subwoofers and amp from unlocked vehicle.

Hooter’s, sexual imposition-offensive contact, Responded to Hooter’s Restaurant for a sexual assault complaint. Spoke to waitress, who stated that an older white male placed a $1.00 tip between her breasts after he paid his check.

Walmart, criminal trespass, Investigation revealed that a person was seen by a police officer soliciting in the lot of Walmart. The suspect had been previously trespassed by the store and was arrested for criminal trespass.

Goodwill, theft without consent, Responded to Goodwill for theft of a customer’s wallet. Two unknown black females picked up the wallet from the changing room and exited the store.

Benchwood Road @ I-75, possession of controlled substances, Driver stopped for no plate light. Vehicle had odor of marijuana and K9 alerted to vehicle during free air sniff. Plastic bag of marijuana and silver marijuana grinder found during subsequent search of vehicle. Suspect charged.

March 29

Loggerhead Court, theft, Theft of misc tools occurred from unknown date in year 2012. Victim was reporting theft on this date. The victim stated he does not know where the theft occurred, what tools are missing and was trespassed from his last known address within the township in 2016.

Walmart, theft without consent, Responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Male subject was concealing items into a Walmart shopping bag. Subject then exited the store without paying for the merchandise. Subject was apprehended and was issued a summons into court.

March 30

Submarine House, assault, Victim was assaulted by known suspect at bar. Suspect fled on foot after the assault. Complaint for assault signed by victim against suspect.

N. Dixie Hardware, forgery, On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, a black male entered and tendered a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was seized.

Walmart, theft, Suspect was arrested for shoplifting. Suspect was summoned into the VMC.

Creekview Circle, theft without consent, Adult male suspect admitted to the victim, his mother, via text messages, he purchased over $300 worth of merchandise online using her checking account, debit/credit card without her permission.

March 31

Speedway, theft, Victim inadvertently left debit card in card reader. Suspect took debit card and subsequently made purchases with it.

Walmart, forgery, On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, between 1644 hours and 1647 hours, an unidentified black male scanned two items and a gift card into an automated register and then attempted to pay for it using several different credit cards. One of which belonged to the victim.

April 1

Days Inn, criminal damaging, Suspect busted out glass window to room 203

Walmart, theft without consent, Responded to Walmart for a theft of merchandise. Suspect was subsequently arrested for theft.

Silver Rock Avenue, assault, Victim #2 was assaulted by suspect who kicked storm door window pane and screen. Window pane and screen struck Victim #2 in the right arm and right side causing injury. Victim #1 signed charge against suspect for criminal damaging caused to door. Charge was upgraded to M-1 due to injury suffered by victim #2 during the incident.

Aaron N. Anderson, 36, theft

Brock D. Wogoman, 21, theft without consent, misuse of credit card

Braxtyn D. Dickerson, 22, warrant arrest for aggravated robbery

Erika A. Fugett, 18, warrant arrest for possession of criminal tools

Joaphar A. Swain, 20, theft without consent
