Vandalia Police Reports

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.

February 17

Hilary A. Fitzgerald, 24, of Greenville, was arrested for OVI after the vehicle she was driving was stopped for speeding near the intersection of Little York Road and Webster St. Fitzgerald tested .193 BAC and was released to a friend and her vehicle towed.

A resident on LaTourette Ct. reported that three DVD players were missing from his residence after allowing four people to stay with him for a few days. The investigation continues.

February 18

A resident on Westhafer Road reported that Huber Heights police had contacted her to tell her someone stole her van and used it in a burglary in that city. The investigation continues.

February 19

Laimari M. Spence, 33, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on N. Dixie Drive. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

William J. Vance, 28, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on S. Brown School Road. He was taken to the county jail.

A resident on Imperial Court reported that a possibly known suspect took prescription drugs from his kitchen counter. The investigation continues.

Officers were dispatched to multiple locations near Estelle Dr. on the report of unlocked cars being broken into. The investigation continues.

February 20

A resident on W. Van Lake Dr. reported an assault and several items if clothing taken from her son. The investigation continues.

Smedley Chevrolet reported a missing dealer license plate. The investigation continues.

The Dollar General Store on W. National reported the theft of $255 by a former employee. The suspect is currently incarcerated in the county jail on an unrelated charge. The investigation continues.

Jerell Butler, 30, was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County Area 1 Court for failure to appear on a criminal damaging case. He was taken to the county jail.

Phuong Thi-Kim Huynh, 26, was cited for disorderly conduct/public intoxication after police were dispatched to an address on Curtis Wright on a passed out person in a vehicle. She was transported for medical attention and issued a summons.

A resident on Westhafer Road reported that someone stole items for a detached garage overnight. The investigation continues.

Unknown suspects broke into an address on Crestgrove and stole plumbing fixtures. The investigation continues.

February 22

Jessica E. Hyre, 28, was arrested on a traffic offense for driving under suspension out of Dayton Municipal Court. She was taken to the county jail.

Jacob E. Miller, 23, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Adeline. He was taken to the county jail.

February 23

Tiffanie D. Wall, 22, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Corporate Center Drive. She was taken to the county jail.

A 37 year old female was transported to Grandview Hospital after an apparent Heroin overdose. The investigation continues.

City employees reported that a letter was stolen form the golf course’s entrance sign. The investigation continues.
