Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

March 6

Speedway, theft, Victim entered Speedway to make a purchase. While making a purchase, he placed his wallet on the counter top and failed to pick up his wallet before leaving, and later found that his wallet was stolen from the business. Victim had a debit card inside his wallet for a second victim that was with him at the time of the purchase. Both victims had activity on their credit / debit cards after the wallet was stolen.

ImmediDent, breaking and entering, Known suspect threw a brick through the front glass door, entered building and stole safe. Suspect left the building by pushing the safe away from the building on an office chair.

Sudachi Drive, theft, Unknown subjects entered warehouse after hours with a key, disabled the alarm with a code, and removed building materials.

Cricket Woods Drive, illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material, Known juveniles sent sexually oriented photographs to each other via the Internet.

March 7

Walmart, theft, Investigation revealed that the suspect took possession of cookware in Walmart and failed to pay for the items before passing the final point to pay. The suspect was apprehended in the parking lot along with the items still left in the cart.

Extended Stay America, misuse of credit card, Suspect used credit card number online to acquire a room.

March 8

Little York Road, theft without consent, theft of Xanax pills from a vehicle.

Red Roof Inn, robbery, On Wednesday, March 8, 2017 the victim was in room 141 at the Red Roof Inn with 2 females overnight. He woke up one of the females stealing his money and clothing. Both females left the hotel in a vehicle, also striking the victim while driving away from the hotel.

March 9

Walmart, endangering children, Investigation revealed that the suspect parked her vehicle in the lot of Walmart and left her 7 year old child and her 1 year old child in the vehicle while it was running, without any adult supervision for approximately 34 minutes while she shopped in the store.

Walmart, receiving stolen property, Investigation reveals that the suspect ran out of the store with 29 items of merchandise totaling $324.43 from Walmart, in a cart, and to a vehicle parked across the street without paying for the items. The suspect fled but was stopped and arrested. The license plate on the vehicle was an entered stolen plate and the driver was also driving under suspension. He also had 4 entered warrants for his arrest. He was booked on all charges.

Walmart, theft without consent, Subject selected merchandise and exited past the last point of sale making no attempt to pay for said merchandise.

March 10

Walmart, theft without consent, Responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Male subject ran towards Sprint Wireless on York Commons Boulevard. Subject was apprehended in Taco Bell Restaurant. Subject was arrested for theft, criminal trespass and two active warrants.

March 11

Walmart, theft, Victim went to Walmart to receive a money transfer. Victim later discovered she was $505.00 short and believed that store clerk took the money instead of giving it to victim in the transaction.

O’Charley’s, theft, Two black males in their twenties skipped out on a $42.05 bill for their dinner. Suspects were last seen south on Miller Lane in a white Chevrolet sedan. The license plate provided by the witness did not match the description of the vehicle. No cameras at this business and no other leads are available to assist with this investigation.

March 12

Dawnridge Drive, OVI, Investigation revealed that the driver failed to maintain reasonable control of her vehicle and crashed into two parked vehicles in a driveway. The driver was subsequently found to be impaired by being under the influence of alcohol and /or drugs.

Eugenia T. L. Stanford, 30, endangering children (2 counts)

Hilbert R. Knight, 70, theft without consent, receiving stolen property, failure to reinstate, warrant arrests for theft without consent, theft, criminal trespassing, failure to control

Richard A. Brown, 36, theft without consent

David G. Boyd, 38, theft without consent, criminal trespass, warrant arrest for driving under suspension, theft

Kinko S. K. Armstrong, 23, warrant for failure to appear

Christina K. Tellis, 24, warrant arrest for theft

Kristine E. Grove, 76, OVI, failure to control
