Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

February 27

Courtyard Inn, assault, Victim advised she was assaulted by her boyfriend at the motel. Victim refused to prosecute suspect.

Transportation Supply Depot, theft of motor vehicle, Unknown subject entered fenced business lot on south of business, entered unlocked company truck #7 that had the keys inside vehicle, removed lock rod from behind business, drove to north side of business, cut the fence with a set of bolt cutters, drove through fence and drove away north bound on North Dixie Drive.

Stop Eight Road, possession of marijuana, Traffic stop, free air, k9 alert, marijuana located in glove compartment. Collected for destruction, no charges filed.

February 28

America’s Best Value Inn, drug possession, Report of a suspicious subject at a local motel going back and forth from a vehicle to room #233. The suspect was now sitting in the vehicle with the headlights on for several minutes before my arrival. The suspect provided false information about his identity and was eventually arrested for a felony warrant. Drugs were found on his person upon searching incident to arrest.

March 1

Brantford Road, menacing, Victim was at residence to pick up grandson. Victim honked his horn. Suspect came from across the street to complain of the noise and threatened victim. Victim refused to prosecute.

Walmart, theft, : Suspect entered Walmart and selected two Vizio flat screen televisions and two Vizo sound bars. Suspect placed items into a shopping cart and pushed the cart out of the store and loaded the items into a black Chevrolet Sonic and departed.

Red Lobster, criminal damaging, Victim parked his unlocked vehicle at the Red Lobster while he dined. Victim returned to his vehicle and found the steering column peeled and his stereo missing.

Frickers, theft, Theft of laptop, subwoofers and amp from unlocked vehicle.

March 2

Epcot Lane, domestic violence, Responded to 7XXX Epcot Lane for Domestic Violence in progress. Primary aggressor pushed the known pregnant female to the floor causing minor injuries. Primary aggressor was arrested for offense and incarcerated.

Comfort Inn, theft, Responded to Comfort Inn on a theft from a motor vehicle. Several Craftsman tools and two tote boxes taken from a locked vehicle.

Walmart, theft, Responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Subjects entered a white vehicle and headed towards Commerce Center Drive. Subject vehicle was stopped and two subjects were arrested for theft and warrants respectively.

Benchwood Road, unruly juvenile, Guardian stated that suspect was being unruly, disrespectful, and disobedient. Contacted the Juvenile Justice Center, who agreed to take suspect. Suspect booked into the JJC.

March 3

Drury Inn, disorderly conduct, Dispatched to the Drury Inn in reference to a Criminal Trespass complaint. Upon arrival female guest became disorderly yelling and cursing in the lobby creating a disturbance in front of other guest. After five warnings female was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.

Brantford Road, domestic violence, Dispatched to residence on a report of a domestic violence. Call was cleared with a domestic violence charge and suspect was incarcerated.

March 4

Red Roof Inn, rape, The caller, who was a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, called to report a rape that occurred at the Red Roof Inn, The victim was reported to currently be at the Miami Valley Hospital. The victim was gone prior to my arrival at the hospital, and has not contacted us to make a report thus far.

Fairfield Inn, theft without consent, Received phone-in theft complainant of a theft occurring at the Fairfield Inn. Two suitcases were stolen from the cargo area of the complainant’s truck. The luggage was covered by a vinyl tonneau cover.

Antioch School Road, breaking and entering, Dispatched to XXX Antioch School Road. Three out buildings had been entered and items stolen. Stolen was a maroon 1995 Chevrolet Corvette bearing an Ohio license plate of GTQ1070. Vehicle had faulty brakes and would not run.

Walmart, theft, The reporting party reports that he had his wallet at Walmart and after getting home, discovered his wallet was missing. It is not known if he lost it or if it was stolen from his back pocket while in line to pay.

Wings, domestic violence, Physical altercation occurred between two adult sisters while inside their car in the parking lot of Wings bar. The victim sustained a bloody nose and mouth from what she described as being punched in the face approximately 4 times by her sister. The suspect left the area prior to officers arriving.

March 5

Walmart, possession of drug abuse instruments, Responded to Walmart for an unconscious female. Subject was arrested for possessing drug abuse instruments.

John A. Moe, 62, domestic violence

Jerrod L. Shelton, 35, warrant arrest (2) for theft

Amanda L. Ashworth, 32, domestic violence

Somer N. Garrett, 36, possession of drug abuse instruments
