BUTLER TOWNSHIP – The following police activity report was received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

OFFENSE REPORTS

07/13 3020 Cricket: Donald J. Dearth arrested for aggravated menacing and criminal trespass. Mary D. Dearth issued a summons for aggravated menacing.

07/14 7208 Meeker Creek, identity fraud: Suspect(s) attempted to access victim’s bank account in another state.

07/15 Unknown location on Little York, criminal damaging: victim’s car was struck by an object thrown by juveniles somewhere on Little York.

07/15 Walmart, theft: James D. Cline arrested for shoplifting of $68.75 in merchandise.

07/15 Walmart, theft: Employees Willie Harris and Michael White arrested for theft of $82.66.

07/15 7130 Miller, America’s Best Value Inn, domestic violence: Todd Weisgarber arrested for domestic violence against live-in girlfriend.

07/16 Walmart: male juvenile charged with shoplifting of $5.75 in merchandise. He was released to his mother.

07/17 Walmart: William E. Caldwell III arrested for theft of $321.09 in merchandise.

07/17 3020 Cricket: Donald J. Dearth arrested for aggravated menacing and violating a protector order.

07/17 Little York & Peters: Driver of vehicle fled from officer. Suspect has not yet been charged.

07/18 7030 Miller, O’Charley’s, theft: Car window broken out and purse taken from inside.

07/18 6549 Miller, Steak ‘N Shake, theft: money stolen from cash register. Under investigation.

07/18 Walmart, possible theft: Victim’s wallet was lost or stolen, possibly at Walmart or in the area of N. Dixie & Benchwood.

07/19 Walmart, theft: Chad M. Abrams arrested for shoplifting $46.73 in merchandise

CRASH REPORTS

07/13 6851 Miller: two-vehicle non-injury crash caused by assured clear distance ahead.

07/14 N. Dixie & Little York: three-vehicle non-injury crash caused by failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

07/15 2975 Benchwood: single-vehicle non-injury crash on private property, cause unknown.

07/16 2421 Little York: single-vehicle non-injury crash caused by failure to control.

07/17 N. Dixie & Benchwood: two-vehicle injury crash caused by failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

07/19 8250 Frederick: single-vehicle hit-and-run crash, unknown injuries.

WARRANT ARRESTS

07/14 Peters & Stonequarry: Anthony Q. Dortch arrested on MCSO warrant for having physical control of a vehicle under the influence.

07/16 7370 Miller, Red Roof Inn: Christopher Gregg arrested on Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office warrant for nonsupport of a child.

07/17 3510 Lightner: Trent J. Horn arrested for two warrants from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office for child neglect and sexual imposition.

07/19 Philadelphia & Frederick: Donald L. Hill arrested on Dayton PD warrant for driving under suspension.
