VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
A resident on Hialeah Ct. reported finding a suspect in their home. He left immediately but several pieces of jewelry were found missing. The investigation continues.
Jerry L. Juskae, 58, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Stewville Dr. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
Tyler M. Plyman, 19, of Dayton, was cited for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on S. Brown School Road for an equipment violation. He was released at the scene.
A complainant reported that three females robbed her in the parking lot of Scene 75. She reported they hit her, pulled her hair, and stole her wallet, phone charger, and keys. The investigation continues.
Evan Kroeker was issued a summons for assaulting his girlfriend on Karns Dr.
A complainant reported seven unauthorized transactions on her credit card bill. There are no suspects or leads.
Dustin J. Fox, 34, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Rader Dr. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
Officers investigated a suspected heroin overdose where a suspect drove over the curb at 7220 N. Dixie Dr. Felony charges will be submitted after lab results are completed. The suspect was taken to Grandview Hospital.
Nickolas E. Post, 24, was arrested for domestic violence after he punched his mother in front of an officer on Randler Ave. He was transported to the county jail.
A complainant reported that unknown persons stole keys from her juvenile daughter’s jacket while it was hanging at the Vandalia Recreation Center. The investigation continues.
Sean J. MasGowan, 25, and Marquise De Von Wilson, 20, were both issued citations for disorderly conduct after a fight on Imperial Court. Both were released.
An employee of Abbey Credit Union reported a customer attempted to cash a fraudulent check from a scam. The customer was notified and the check was confiscated.
A Jeep was towed from the curb lane on Northwoods after being unable to locate the owner.
A complainant reported that her cell phone was stolen while she was a patron at the Little York Tavern. She tracked the phone to a hotel on Miller Lane but lost contact with the phone. The investigation continues.
An officer was sent to Butler High School to investigate the possible sending of a nude photo of another juvenile over social media to a student in Georgia. The investigation continues.
Billy J. Williams, 28, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Brusman Dr. He was taken to the county jail.
A complainant on Cornish Dr. reported that her vehicle was stolen out of her driveway after she started it to warm it up. The vehicle was entered as stolen.
A vehicle was stolen from an address on E. Alkaline Springs Road after it was left running in the driveway. The investigation continues.
A 16-year old juvenile male was charged with soliciting without a permit and trespassed from a business after he was at a business selling candy bars. He has had numerous complaints of the same nature. The case was referred to Montgomery County Juvenile Court.
Moka R. Walker, 32, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Foxfire Trail. She was transported to the county jail.
Police investigated a suspicious person call at an address on Attica St. They found a gate in the back yard open and a ole in the rear door of the garage. No entry was gained to the home.
Police were dispatched to Demmitt Elementary on a possible child abuse case. The child was taken to Children’s Medical Center for evaluation. The investigation continues.
