Vandalia’s Lauren Eifert Receives Muse Machine Scholarship

DAYTON — Muse Machine is proud to name Vandalia’s Lauren Eifert as the recipient of the Muse Machine Mary-Kate Tews Scholarship. The scholarship was presented at the Victoria Theatre before a live audience. Lauren is a senior at Chaminade-Julienne High School and was featured in the cast of Muse Machine’s recent production of Hairspray.

This scholarship is named in memory of New Orleans-based, life-long arts advocate, Mary-Kate Tews. The scholarship celebrates the performer’s commitment, achievements and promising creative future.

Muse Machine is a nationally recognized arts education organization, providing creative experiences and resources for young people of the Miami Valley for the past 35 years. Since 1982, they have engaged thousands of students through academic-relevant lessons, workshops and in-school projects along with the highly acclaimed annual student musicals and concerts produced for the Miami Valley.
