Butler Township Police Activity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

November 7

Kershner Road, Theft of Trump signs from front yard

Walmart, Theft of merchandise from Walmart – manager signed refusal to prosecute

Extended Stay America, criminal trespass, called to the Extended Stay America Dayton North for an overdose. The patient was later found to have been previously trespassed from all the hotels on Miller Lane.

Benchwood Road, unruly juvenile

Outback Steakhouse, theft from vehicles, shattered the side windows on two vehicles parked at the Outback Steakhouse. Several items were stolen.

Hooters, theft from vehicles, rear driver side window broken out of truck and items stolen

November 8

Red Roof Inn, theft from vehicles, vehicle window broken out and items stolen

N. Sunny Ridge Road, identity fraud, the victim ran his credit report and learned that a Verizon cellular telephone account was on his credit history. The victim has never been a Verizon customer

November 9

Old Springfield Road, telecommunications harassment, unknown subject called victims cell phone from a blocked number and made threats to cause physical harm to the victim.

November 10

Walmart, theft, responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Female subject would not cooperate with store security. Female subject was found walking in an open field off of Town Center Drive. Female was arrested for theft.

Walmart, littering, obstruction of official business, while approaching a female panhandler in the Walmart driveway, female saw me and dropped her sign. Female then provided me with false information. Female identified and charged with obstruction of official business and littering.

November 11

S. Sunny Ridge Road, theft, theft of prescription medication from residence. Suspect arrested for theft.

November 12

Chipotle, disorderly conduct, dispatched to Chipolte in reference to two disorderly customers. Upon arrival one female continued to be disorderly with officers and was charged with disorderly conduct.

November 13

Red Roof Inn, robbery, responded to Red Roof Inn on a robbery. Victim was slapped in the face by unknown male, who then stole her purse and ran.

Mitch A. Murray, 41, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer

Brandon S. Hollon, 39, menacing by stalking

Bobbie J. Parsons, 36, theft

Sarah A. Cordes, 41, obstructing official business, littering

Timothy W. Walker, 36, theft

Miah J. Glenn, 26, disorderly conduct

Accident reports

November 8 – N. Dixie Dr. @ Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling northbound on North Dixie Drive in the center lane and when at Little York Road, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2, which was traveling northbound on North Dixie Drive in the center lane and was stopping in traffic.

November 11 – N. Dixie Dr. @ Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling north on North Dixie Drive in the far right lane of travel, and when at Little York Road, failed to obey the traffic control device, (a red traffic signal) and in so doing collided with Unit #2 which was traveling west on Little York Road in the west bound lane of travel. Unit #2 was towed away by Leon’s Towing at the driver’s request.

November 12 – N. Dixie Dr. @ Benchwood Road

Unit #1 was traveling east on Benchwood Road in the east bound lane of travel, and when at North Dixie Drive, failed to obey the traffic control device, a red traffic signal, and in so doing collided with Unit #2 which was traveling south on North Dixie Drive in the far right lane of travel. This action caused Unit #2 to go to its left and strike Unit #3 which was also traveling south on North Dixie Drive traveling in the inside left lane of travel.
