VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
Plates were confiscated off a vehicle parked at the Knights Inn per BMV order. The registered owner also had a misdemeanor warrant for driving under suspension. Ashly N. Zaragoza, 27, of Huber Heights, was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Davon P. Marshall, 30, of Dayton, was arrested for theft after an incident at the Speedway on E. National Road. He was stopped on W. National Road and issued a summons.
A complainant reported several items taken from her unlocked vehicle at the Vandalia Recreation Center. The investigation continues.
A tree at Robinette Park was struck by an unknown vehicle and broken off. The investigation continues.
Jeffrey S. Ratliff, 43, of Dayton, was arrested for OVI after going through the drive-thru at Taco Bell. He was released to a family member.
Brandon L. Aniton, 29, of Trotwood, was arrested and charged with two counts of having weapons under disability after an incident at the Travelodge. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
Police stopped a motorcycle on Kenneth Ave. whose driver was under an OVI suspension. His vehicle was towed and he was cited for driving under suspension.
A vehicle was towed from W. Van Lake Dr. for having no plates and no registration.
A vehicle was towed from N. Brown School Road after receiving a 48-hour warning. Contact with the owner was attempted.
A complainant reported that someone pretending to be a police officer called her and told her she owed money and would arrest her if not paid. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that a midwifery school in Colorado took $3,000 from her for a class she was unable to take and refuses to refund the money. The investigation continues.
