VANDALIA — Huber Heights City Manager Rob Schommer spoke to the Rotary Club of Vandalia on Thursday, July 16 concerning the inaugural lineup of entertainment at the Stuart & Mimi Rose Music Center at the Heights.

The Rose Music Center opened on May 2, 2015 and will conclude the season on Sept. 8 with its 29th performance. Schommer said the number of performances exceeded expectations as they figured that 15 concerts would be a “home run.” Owned by the city of Huber Heights, the Rose Music Center is operated by Music & Event Management Inc. (MEMI).

Schommer said that classic rock seems to be the most popular type of show at the Rose Music Center. One of the upcoming shows that is attracting interest is Dancing With The Stars: LIVE! “Perfect 10 Tour” slated for July 30.

The Rose Music Center is a covered 4200 seat concert facility. Fans can buy tickets service-charge free when they visit the box office. Tickets can also be purchased at RoseMusicCenter.com, Ticketmaster.com and at Ticketmaster outlets.
