VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.
Anthony Mastroianni, 66, was arrested for OVI after officers were dispatched to Grosbeck St. on the report of an intoxicated person in a vehicle. He was taken to the county jail.
A 17-year old juvenile was charged with being unruly after her father reported her running away and refusing to come home, missing school, and possible drug use. She was referred to juvenile court and released to her father.
A resident on Hartshorn Dr. reported that a fraudulent charge was made on her department store credit card. The investigation continues.
A complainant reported that a suspect has made threats to kill her, blow up her place of employment, and to kill her sister in law. The investigation continues.
A 16-year old juvenile female was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and unruly juvenile after being flagged down by the juvenile’s mother. She was taken to the juvenile detention center.
A 16-year old juvenile male was charged with being unruly after his mother brought him to the police department saying he was “out of control” and that she “could not handle him anymore.” Charges were referred to juvenile court.
An 11-year old juvenile was charged with juvenile tobacco possession after her mother found cigarettes in her room and she was uncooperative with police. The case was referred to juvenile court.
A resident on Blucher Court found a mortar round under a bench that had been there since he bought the residence 13 years ago. The mortar round was exploded by the Wright Patterson Air Force Base Bomb Squad without incident and found to be inert.
A 15-year old juvenile was charged with a curfew violation and being unruly after she was found with another subject at 2:19 a.m. he was released to her mother.
