BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

August 15

Liquor & Wine Warehouse, breaking and entering

August 16

Benchwood Road, unauthorized use of motor vehicle

August 17

Hardwicke Place, identity fraud

Bob Evans, theft of a firearm

Cricket Lane, theft of mail

August 18

Walmart, theft

Fountain View Dr., Rape

Willowridge Dr., Burglary

August 19

Speedway, employee theft of lottery tickets

Frederick Pike, identity fraud

Walmart, theft without consent

August 20

Mxton Road, obstructing official business

N. Dixie Dr., disorderly conduct

Benchwood Road, theft of handgun from residence

Walmart, theft

Robert C. Robinson, 39, failure to appear

Juvenile arrest, receiving stolen property

Michael S. Williams, 43, domestic violence

Danae N. Young, 18, theft without consent

Elizabeth K. Clayton, 19, theft without consent

Russell A. Cook, 50, obstructing official business

Accident reports

August 16 – Stonequarry @ Peters Pike

Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Stonequarry Road in the westbound lane, and when at the intersection with Peters Pike, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2, which was traveling westbound on Stonequarry Road in the westbound lane and was stopped in traffic.

August 16 – N. Dixie Dr. @ Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling northbound on North Dixie Drive in the inside straight travel lane, and when at approximately 200 feet north of Little York Road, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2, which was traveling northbound on North Dixie Drive in the inside straight travel lane and was stopped for traffic.

August 18 – Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling eastbound on Little York Road in the eastbound lane of travel and when at 4050 Little York Road, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2, which was traveling eastbound on Little York Road in the eastbound lane of travel and was stopped in traffic.

The collision of Unit #1 into Unit #2 caused Unit #2 to collide with the rear of Unit #3. which was also traveling eastbound on Little York Road in the eastbound lane of travel and was stopped in traffic.

Unit #1 was found to not have valid insurance after the fact.
