BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

August 8

Red Roof Inn, Menacing

Walmart, attempted prescription fraud

August 10

Benchwood Road, menacing by stalking

Comfort Inn, theft

Panera Bread, dog left in vehicle with no ventilation

Accident reports

August 10 – Little York Road @ Singing Ridge

Unit #1 was traveling east on Little York Road in the right lane and when at Singing Ridge Boulevard and negotiating a curve, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and over corrected, came back on the roadway and struck Unit #2 on the left side of the vehicle, who was traveling west on Little York Road. Unit #1 than rolled backwards in the west bound lane and came to rest at 3961 Little York Road.

August 11 – Peters Pike @ Little York Place

Unit #1 was traveling southbound on Peters Pike in the southbound lane of travel, and when at the intersectionwith Little York Road, Unit #1 failed to stop for a red traffic light and struck Unit #2, which was traveling eastbound on Little York Road in the eastbound lane of travel. Unit #2 was traversing the intersection on a green traffic light.

August 13 – Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Little York Road in the westbound lane of travel and when at 3941 Little York Road, Unit #1 failed to maintain control of the vehicle, drove off the right side of the road and struck a traffic sign. No citation was issued to Unit #1 due to suffer a medical issue.
