BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

August 1

America’s Best Value Inn, recovery of stolen vehicle

Little York Road, criminal damaging complaint (residence)

Golden Corral, disorderly conduct (fight)

August 2

Walnut Ridge Road, disorderly conduct

Little York Road, unruly juvenile

April 3

Residence Inn, criminal damaging of vehicle

Spring Glen Circle, stolen license plate

DayAir Credit Union, falsification

Sunny Ridge Road, theft of lawn lights

Accident reports

August 1 – Miller Lane @ Little York Road

Unit 1 was traveling north on Miller Lane in the northbound lane and when at Little York Road made a right turn on red, failing to yield to Unit 2, which was traveling east on Little York Road in the eastbound lane.

August 4 – N. Dixie Dr.

Unit #1 was traveling west on an unnamed access road near 8090 North Dixie Drive, and when at the intersection of North Dixie Drive attempted to make a left turn to travel South on North Dixie Drive, and in doing so failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and collided with Unit #2 which was traveling South on North Dixie Drive in the South bound lane.

August 5 – Peters Pike

Unit #1 was traveling north on Peters Pike at 7460 and was left of center passing Unit #2. In so doing failed to yield to oncoming traffic while returning to the northbound lane collided with the left side of Unit #2 who was also traveling north bound.

August 7 – Stonequarry Road

Unit #1 was traveling east on Stonequarry Road in the right lane and when at 3022 Stonequarry Road, failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2 which was traveling east on Stonequarry Road in the right lane and was slowing down in the attempt to turn into the driveway of 3022 Stonequarry Road.
