Camp Mac Car Show set for Aug. 13
BUTLER TWP. — Polk Grove United Church of Christ is having its 14th annual Camp Mac Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 10500 Kley Rd. in Butler Twp. Registration is from 9 a.m. until noon with a fee of $10 ( $1 goes into a driver’s pot). There will be hot food ,cold beverages and a bake sale too. Cars will be parked on grass. There will be a 50/50drawing, door prizes and lots of oldies. Awards to be given out by 2 p.m. General public is admitted free. Rain date is Aug 27. Butler Twp. Budget Commission meetings set
BUTLER TWP. – The Butler Township Budget Commission has scheduled meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month starting at 6 p.m. and concluding September 28 at the Butler Township Meeting Hall, 3780 Little York Road, Dayton, Oh 45414.
The meetings are open to the public.

Interactive MathAlive! exhibit coming to museum
Looking to avoid the “summer slide” with your school-age children? Make plans to check out the MathAlive! exhibit, an interactive traveling exhibit opening next month at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The free 5,000-square-foot exhibit, which is underwritten by Raytheon, will be open at the museum July 23-Oct. 2. Forty immersive activities create fun experiences that bring to life the real math behind the things kids love most – video games, sports, design, music, entertainment, space and robotics.
Celebrate National Aviation Day at the museum
Celebrate National Aviation Day with free educational activities from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. National Aviation Day is a celebration of all things related to aviation and is held on the anniversary of Orville Wright’s birthday (145 years ago on Aug. 19). During the event, museum visitors will learn about achievements in aviation and aerospace from the time of the Wright brothers’ first flight to modern Air Force technology.

Kiser High School Almuni Meetings
HUBER HEIGHTS — Kiser High School alumni meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December) at the American Legion Post 200 which is at 5046 Nebraska Avenue, Huber Heights. VANDALIA — The Vandalia Lions Club holds dinner meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at the Cassel Hills Golf Clubhouse at 6:30 p.m. The club does not hold dinner meetings in July or August. Programs include speakers covering topical subjects.
