BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

June 20

I-75 @ Benchwood Rd., receiving stolen property

N. Dixie Drive, theft

Walmart, theft

June 22

America’s Best Value Inn, possession of heroin

Walmart, theft of purse from unlocked vehicle

Accident reports

6/20 Little York at N. Dixie Dr.

Unit #1 was traveling eastbound on Little York Road in the left-turn lane. Unit #2 was traveling westbound on Little York Road in the right-turn lane. Unit #1 turned left onto North Dixie Drive. Unit #2 turned right onto North Dixie Drive. Both vehicles collided. The front right corner of unit #1 struck the front left corner of unit #2. Both units claim to have a green traffic signal. No independent witnesses. Unable to assign blame.

6/20 National Road @ Aullwood

Unit #1 was traveling westbound on National Road in the westbound lane and when between Aullwood Road and Mile Marker 11, unit #1 lost control of the vehicle, crossed over to the left of the center line and side-swiped unit #2, which was traveling eastbound on National Road in the eastbound lane. Unit #1 continued westbound in the eastbound land and struck unit #3, which was traveling eastbound on the eastbound lane, head on.

6/23 N. Dixie Dr. @ York Commons

Unit #1 was traveling south on North Dixie Drive in the right lane and when at York Commons Boulevard, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2 which was traveling south on North Dixie Drive in the right lane and was stopped in traffic.
