CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Dr. Robert Allen Aldredge received his PhD in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Saturday, May 7, 2016.

He did his undergraduate at The Ohio State University and his Master’s Degree at The University of Central Florida.

Aldredge is currently employed at Archbold Biological Station studying the Florida Scrub Jay, the Red Cockaded Woodpecker, and the Grasshopper Sparrow at the Avon Park Air Force Range in central Florida. He graduated in 1998 from Vandalia Butler High School and is the son of Jenny and Gordie Jackson of Vandalia, Ohio and Joseph Aldredge of Phillipsburg, Ohio.
