Vandalia Police Reports April 25-May 2

VANDALIA – The following police reports were received from the Vandalia Division of Police. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in court of law.

April 25

William M. Trimble, 53, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct/public intoxication. He was transported to his home and released to a sober person.

April 26

A 15-year old juvenile male was arrested for domestic violence after an altercation with his brother. He was transported to the juvenile detention center.

Joshua Bailey, 22, was arrested for domestic violence after an incident on Paddock Road. He was taken to the county jail.

Jason L. E. Daulton, 23, was arrested on a felony warrant for improperly handling a firearm out of Allen County after police stopped a suspicious vehicle at a business on Poe Ave. He was taken to the county jail.

Caleb R. Johnston, 18, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for failure to appear on a charge of illegal use of a credit card. He was taken to the county jail.

April 27

Kenneth L. Horner, 63, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation out of Vandalia Municipal Court on an original offense of a traffic violation. He was taken to the county jail.

Wendy L. Hale, 41, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for failure to appear on an OVI charge. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

April 28

Hertz Rental Car reported that a car was returned which has been reported as stolen out of their Indianapolis airport location. The vehicle was removed from LEADS and put back into service.

The Flying J Travel Plaza on Northwoods Boulevard reported that a golf cart was stolen from the property. The investigation continues.

April 29

Cameron W. Shepherd, 24, was arrested for OVI after being observed leaving the Little York Tavern and committing a traffic violation. He was released to a relative.

April 30

William C. Hayslett, 35, was charged with endangering children after allowing his 10 year old child to drive a vehicle which was involved in an accident. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain reasonable control. He was issued a summons.

William L. Stone, 47, was arrested on multiple felony warrants out of Miami County at the Travelodge on Poe Avenue. He was transported to the county jail.

May 1

Aubrey T. Brown, 24, was cited for OVI and failure to maintain reasonable control after driving off a curve on the Poe Wyse Connector and striking a building on Wyse Road. She was transported to Miami Valley Hospital.

Matthew E. Londergan, 32, was arrested for disorderly conduct after becoming intoxicated and being asked to leave Scene 75. He refused. He was taken to the county jail.

May 2

Billy J. DeBoard, 38, was arrested on a warrant out of Vandalia Municipal Court for probation violation on an original charge of disorderly conduct. He posted bond at the police department and was transported home.

Laryan E. Brooks, III, 26, was arrested for felony domestic violence after an incident on W. Van Lake Drive in which an apartment employee heard a woman yell for someone to call 911.
