Aullwood Summer Earth Adventures classes to begin

BUTLER TWP. — Aullwood’s popular Summer Earth Adventures classes are coming soon.

Adventures may include searching watery habitats for aquatic life, helping with animal care and farm chores, looking for life in the forest, creating nature artwork and much more.

The theme this summer is “May the Forest be with You!” Come to Aullwood for a summer filled with fun and excitement. Class are developed around the child’s age and abilities and include hands-on activities, crafts, and games for children age 2 through 8th grade.

Children attend weekly classes— topics and hours vary. A limited number of scholarships are available this year.

The 2016 Summer Earth Adventures classes will be held the following weeks:

Session I: June 6–10 Session V: July 11–15

Session II: June 13–17 Session VI: July 18–22

Session III: June 20–24 Session VII: July 25–29

Session IV: June 27–July 1 Session VIII: August 1–5

To register for classes call Aullwood (937) 890-7360 or complete the registration form in the Summer Earth Adventures brochure. Classes fill quickly so register now.

Have you aged out of Summer Earth Adventures classes but still want to be involved in the program? Aullwood is seeking volunteer assistants (ages 14 and up) to help with Summer Earth Adventures. Volunteer assistants lend a hand with a variety of tasks to help the teacher provide an exciting class for the youngsters attending.
