BUTLER TOWNSHIP — The following police activity report was received from the Butler Township Police Department. All subjects are innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Accident reports

Brantford @ Little York Roads

Unit #1 was traveling from the east to the south on Little York Road in the left-turn lane and when at Brantford

Road, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and struck Unit #2.

Turtleback Drive

Unit #1 was traveling south on Turtleback Drive in the southbound lane and when at 7531 Turtleback Drive Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and drifted to the right colliding with Unit #2 which was an unoccupied vehicle, parked on the right side of the roadway.

Miller Lane

Unit #1 was traveling east on Commerce Center Drive at Miller Lane, and after having made the required safety stop at Miller Lane, proceeded into the intersection to turn left (north) and in so doing, failed to yield the right of way, and collided with Unit #2, which was traveling northbound on Miller Lane in preparation to turn left onto Commerce Center Drive.

Meeker Road

Unit #1 was traveling north on Meeker Road in the right lane and when at 8500 Meeker Road, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle on a curve and ran off the left side of the road, striking a Dayton Power and Light pole and a speed limit sign.

N. Dixie Drive @ Benchwood Road

Unit #1 was traveling north on North Dixie Drive in the right lane and when at Benchwood Road, failed to obey the traffic control device, a red light and in so doing collided with Unit #2 which was traveling west on Benchwood Road in the left turn lane.

Frederick Pike

Unit #1 was traveling northwest on Frederick Pike in the right lane and when near the address of 6230 Frederick Pike, traveled off of the roadway on the right side and struck a guard rail. Unit #1 then tried to travel back into the roadway, and in doing so, over corrected, spinning out and going left of center and strike the guard rail on the left side of the roadway.

Miller Lane @ York Commons Blvd.

Unit #1 was traveling south on Miller Lane in the right lane and when at York Commons Boulevard, failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2 which was traveling south on Miller Lane in the right lane and was stopping in traffic.

Benchwood Road @ Miller Lane

Unit #1 was traveling west on Benchwood Road in the right turn lane and when at Miller Lane, Unit #1 failed to stop within the assured clear distance ahead and collided with the rear of Unit #2 which was traveling west on Benchwood Road in the right turn lane and was stopping in traffic.

Miller Lane @ Little York Road

Unit #1 was traveling northeast on Miller Lane in the right lane and when at Little York Road, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line, hit a guard rail and came back onto Miller Lane.

Martindale Road

Unit #1 was traveling northwest on Martindale Road in the right lane and when at 651 Martindale Road, Unit #1 lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, went into the ditch, hit a large boulder and came to rest against a fence.
